Heya scuttercasters,

I just dropped by to say how much i am enjoying the podcast and also tell you an 'interesting' tale...

I had this English exam thing (not really an exam, im not sure what it was actually) but anyway it was this discussion where you sit in a group and talk about these victorian books and how they use language features and all that - quite boring really. I wish we could have a lesson where we just watched Red Dwarf - that would be fun.
Anyway, it was speaking and listening we got marked on and if I hadn't listened to Scuttercast I wouldn't know how to be part of a discussion affectively and get a decent mark for making points and getting everyone involved in the discussion and so thank you all.
It all went really well, and I don't think I shouted 'podcast' in the middle - which is probably a good thing :D

So, thank you 'casters and please keep recording :D

Wow, never thought it might help in an english language capacity. Sounds like some sort of english oral test. Thinking about, I know quite a few podcast listeners from another forum I use that are still at school. Reading thier Tweets and forum postings, I would say podcast listeners do seem to be on the more intelligent side!

Proof then, listening to ScutterCast improves your brain!!

(although I think mine was corrupted!!)

I think I kinda annoyed my frinds by telling them it was so much more fun if you believed you were 'in a podcast' - repeatedly :D

Yh it really did help so thanks very much - usually in English I'm like this ](*,) - not very smart at all

Wow ! I'm shocked, but slightly flattered. I think because myself and ori listen to a boat load of podcasts ourselves, we've been able to pick up what works and what doesn't.....for example, episode 1 didn't lol, and the later episodes do :)

But thanks matey, glad listening to us rambling on helped :)

LOL, we would have only gone for around 1 year (52 official episodes, 55 if you could BtE as 3), but decided as they take so long to edit, that I/we get every other week off :), this allows me to catch up on my Xbox, PS3, PC, PSP, NDS, iPod Touch gaming addiction I have :)

Well yes, that does seem reasonable. I suppose it was hard for you all to get together every week anyway

That was one reason, also it was taking BJ 2 or 3 nights to edit it after being at work all day....as well as being involved with other FictionShed stuff. Novo-B and stuff!! Just so much time goes into it, especially onbehalf of BJ!!
