Swiss Cheese

Postby Jake Bullet » Sat Feb 16, 2008 12:54 pm

There was this aritcle in Nuts magazine. Because England are not in Euro 2008, Nuts set up a competition between England and Switzerland - in cheese. I love English Chedder cheese, Red Leister (Spelling?) and Double Gloucester which were featured, but have never been a fan of Swiss Cheese (Emmentel I think was one featured.

So, is Swiss Cheese cool or not?

I admit that I also like Brie, but as that is not Swiss (French I believe, although there is a place in England where Brie is produced i think), and therefore not part of this debate, we can exclude it :D . To be honest, Brie takes second place to Chedder for me. Emmental is too rubbery for me (bit like Edam, not a fan of that either).

Swiss cheese is rubbish. it's rubbery, full of holes (how's that value for money?!) and doesn't even taste nice.
Can't honestly say that Brits make the best cheese though, has to be the French (I'm very sorry to say, funny how they all stink though. )

It most certainly is, though must admit I think marmite is slightly worse. Funny, I love twiglets though.
