How Fast Are You?

Saw this on the Treks In Sci-Fi forum. And I'm not happy with my results!! :evil:

Better than i expected to be honest - I was expecting like 2mb/s download

On another site I use, the typical US connection is sooo much faster than the UK....but the Korean connection is out of this world!!!!!

My dads internet is about 4 or 5 times as fast as the one ive got here! Its unreal when playing various online games ;)

Mine's not too bad but when I had 2 windows open it dropped to 3mb. Took me ages to do it tho as it kept crashing - lol.

Ive used this site for some yrs and i find it changes readings dramatically the time of day u do the test.

Looking at the times the posters have done the test seems to roughly work out correct to me.

Bazareth seems to have the best connection to me thats a good speed for 10pm ish.

My ISP has been taken over by Talk Talk.....so I've redone. It is however a very different time of day to the last test which may explain any difference

That's strange, that it's connecting to Manchester, and Coventry ? Wouldn't you get a better speed connecting to the Nottingham exchange ?
