Don't think CSI has ever been the same since the main cast started to dwindle away. I do quite like Ted Danson in it, but everyone is really starting to age, and they've pretty much done all they can do with the story.

What they need is the lab to go bang, everyone be ok....game over.

Perhaps they could finish all the CSIs with a big cliff hanger story then perhaps have a TV movie or something to wrap it up

Actually, that would be quite interesting. Bring all 3 to a massive case that spans over all 3, each episode of Miami, Vegas and NY are the case from their point of view.....interesting :)

Okay, I know I made this about Miami, but I watched the latest episode of Vegas and now Nick is leaving and Ekkly (how ever you spell it. The Under Sheriff dude.) got shot. Perhaps they are hoping to quietly disappear. With all the good ones gone no one wants to watch and they just fade to black.

With that, perhaps they could bring Catherine back for it. Going over a state line and all that. An idea for the end of Vegas I thought would be good is Grissom got murdered and the others have to find out who it was etc.

Just had a quick look on tvrage, seems they're still flogging the dead horse well into season 13 :( http://www.tvrage.com/CSI/episode_list/13

I think it's a pity they're dying off, I've really enjoyed CSI, but it is starting to get a little long in the tooth. There used to be some good sub plots, but the last season just seemed to be 'murder of the week'
