I think the series needs the death of a main character to shake it up. It dances around it with characters getting close to death or being harnessed...and it came close with that kid dying (Jimmy?). But it needs to straight out have somebody die in front of ER's Carter (That's the only way I will ever see Noah Wyle). probably one of his kids.

Also, did they ever explain the metallic insect that flew out of Carter's face and into Red Eye's eye?

Is this cancelled? I can't remember if it's coming back or not.

Overall, I enjoyed it. Not the best or unmissable. But decent enough for me to want to keep up with....from what i remember. Seems like ages ago...

Season 3 has now started, and I've decided not to bother with it. Hopefully I'll speak to somebody about it and they'll change my mind, if not, I'm not sure it'll be a great loss.

I've watched it. The first episode was okay....Having jumped forward by about half a year or so, we have a different set up with regards to a new alien species. Motives being questioned and mistrust....they've not really delved fully into that yet, but is the way they are heading. But keeping production costs low by not actually having them on screen much.

There's an interesting situation that intrigues me regarding Noah Wyles characters new baby. I hope what we are seeing happening is actually really happening.

And the end of the second episode introduced yet another interesting problem that I can't wait to see how it goes... I won't post details incase you decide to pick it up again.
