Well I've read and I've read and I've read some more.
When oh when will we be put out of our misery and be able to enjoy the Red Dwarf Movie ?
If things carry on as they are, the cast will genuinely look like "the future selves" from "Out Of Time".
Any info pop it in here
Will it or won't it ?

I think it's kinda getting to late for the movie tbh.
I mean lets face it, due to financial troubles, filming hasn't even started.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but how long does it take to make a film ? A couple of years.
If you take into consideration that it's not been 6 years since Season 8 was aired, add a couple of years for filming, and dependant on how talented the makeup crew are, they're going to have ages a wee bit.

Welcome smeghead !
You see, I really want to see a season 9 too......but is it too late for that too ?
It would have to be set in the future in "red dwarf time".
The pic below is from http://www.reddwarf.co.uk, taken from the DVD launch about a week ago.
They've aged a wee bit.

Well, after watching the documentary on the season 8 DVD "The Tank", I feel a lot more confident that the movie will be made.
Doug seems so eager not to let "Red Dwarf" die off, and if only the funding had turned up, we'd all probably have "The Dwarf Movie" in our DVD collection, and watching reruns of season 9 on UK Gold, lol !
Anybody got a couple of million to chuck in his direction ?? I only wish I had.

I am soooo looking forward to the Red Dwarf movie. I'm with those who haven't given up hope that the venture hasn't been abandoned. I wish I had the money to help, if only I could win the lottery!
I need to get my hands on the last two DVDs, series 7 and 8. I just haven't been able to afford them. I'm a really poor student! I'm going to request them for my birthday that is in two weeks, so hopefully I shall have them soon.
Oh! To see Red Dwarf on the BIG screen!

Apparently a 9th series is been planned but no filming dates have been set as of yet, but he's been informed that the film has had the green light and will start filming towards the end of the year, no plot details as of yet from her, but no doubt she will let me know when she hears anything.
